2nd Street and County Line Road will be reopening at the end of day Saturday, March 18th. Due to weather forecast, closure of 5th Street and County Line Road will now be delayed to Thursday March 23rd.

 

Roadway Engineering will do its best to minimize disruption caused by construction. A company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed. If you cannot locate the company representative, please contact Project Inspector Brian McDuffie, with TKE Engineering at (951) 205-4454.

March 7, 2023
 

With ongoing construction for the roundabout at the County Line Road and 2nd Street Street intersection, Base Pavement is scheduled to be placed on March 14th, and the closure is expected to reopen the week of March 20th. Roadway Engineering will be returning to the intersection to complete remaining work with daily temporary closures if needed.

 

The construction of the roundabout at the intersection of County Line Road and 5th  Street will occur next. This closure and construction at the intersection is expected to last between 8-12 weeks starting on March 20th. Normal working hours will be between 7:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

Roadway Engineering will do its best to minimize disruption caused by construction. A company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed. February 17, 2023

This upcoming Monday, February 20th is President’s Day and the City of Calimesa City Hall will be closed. Therefore, Monday’s Residents meeting will be canceled. If you have any questions or concerns that require immediate attention, a company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed.

December 27, 2022

Roadway Engineering will be assisting the Department of Water Resources exploring underground utilities along the South bound lane of Bryant Street just north of County Line Road. The work is scheduled to be performed Wednesday, December 28th. Therefore, Southbound traffic will be closed for the day on Bryant Street and County Line Road intersection for Through Traffic. Detour signs will be placed at Avenue H directing South bound traffic to utilize Douglas Street. Roadway Engineering will do its best to minimize disruption caused by construction. A company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed.

December 9, 2022
 

With ongoing construction for the roundabout at the County Line Road and California Street intersection, Base Pavement is scheduled to be placed the week of December 19th and the closure is expected to reopen the last week of December. Roadway Engineering will be returning to the intersection to complete remaining work with daily temporary closures if needed.

Happy Thanksgiving Calimesa and Yucaipa Residents. Construction along County Line Road will be paused for this Thursday and Friday, November 24th – 25th for Thanksgiving. Enjoy the holiday with your friends and family.

November 2, 2022
Public Residents’ Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 7th will be canceled. The City of Calimesa will be holding a Voting Assistance Center for the General Elections. If you have any questions or concerns which require immediate assistance, a company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed.

Bryant Street intersection is scheduled to reopen at the end of day Monday, October 10th. Roadway Engineering will be working this Saturday, October 8th between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm to perform final cleanup of the project site prior to reopening intersection. Roadway Engineering will do its best to minimize disruption caused by construction. A company representative, wearing a safety vest will be present on the job site each day to answer questions or provide assistance as needed. October 25, 2022
Roadway is scheduled to perform street pulverization at County Line Road and California Street on Thursday and Friday, November 2nd and 3rd. Normal working hours are between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. There will be an increase in dust, noise and limited street access due to pulverization.

 
You will receive additional information from Roadway if your house , business or driveway will be directly affected by the work. Roadway will do its best to minimize disruption caused by construction.
